Fender Musical Instruments
Fender started making amps and then guitars that were accessible to people on a limited budget but wanted a quality instrument. Even with the recent price increase one can still buy a MIM Std Strat for under $500 which is a pretty attractive price for a very decent instrument.
Gretsch Guitars
Chet Atkins played a Gretsch, so have any number of other notable guitarists over the years. The new Gretsch guitars are great instruments of very high quality that offer a unique and beautiful sound to any player's palette.
Italia Straps
I use 4" wide Italia Straps because they are easy on the shoulder and easy on the eyes. Their prices are reasonable too.
